Slater Montessori in Fountain Valley has exceeded every single one of my expectations! My son has loved going to school from day one and he always comes home excited to tell me about everything he’s learned. What I appreciate most is that their education goes far beyond academics — soccer, music, dance, cooking, gardening and much more. The school is always exceptionally clean, organized, and welcoming, and the teachers are genuinely warm, loving, patient and nurturing. This school is truly a hidden gem!

When my son missed the cutoff for Transitional Kindergarten, we visited three other nearby schools, but Slater Montessori stood out immediately. Ms. Elizabeth and Mr. Deyon are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They know every single student by name and always communicate so thoughtfully. The teachers here are phenomenal! My son has learned so much, including his alphabets, phonics, math, and valuable social skills. Best preschool in Orange County!

Our daughter had her first school experience at Slater Montessori and we couldn't be happier. From preschool summer school through kindergarten she was exposed to a wide range of curriculum, music, art and cultural celebrations. Her teachers were gentle and kind and helped her build a confidence she will carry for the rest of her life. The school is kept impeccably clean, inside and out — our only complaint is that she can't continue there through high school!

From the very first day we felt our daughter was in a safe, caring and nurturing environment. We were impressed by how much the school respects diversity, and communication with parents was always clear. I highly recommend this school! My daughter has been attending for over a year, and she has truly thrived. From dance and Spanish to so many other activities, she’s always coming home with new skills and things she’s excited to share. The directors, manager, and teachers genuinely care about the children, and that warmth is evident the moment you walk in.

We are very happy and grateful that our child had the opportunity to attend Slater Montessori! It is a wonderful program with a great variety of activities and a warm, welcoming environment. Our child genuinely looked forward to going to school every day. The teachers are absolutely wonderful, caring, and dedicated, and the administration is amazing as well.

Ms. Elizabeth has been teaching our kids from the start & we adore her. The teachers are warm, thoughtful, and truly passionate about early childhood education. We have two high-spirited children that come home excited to share what they’ve learned, and that joy says it all. We feel incredibly lucky to have found a preschool that not only teaches but genuinely cares.
